| Dear Apple,
I've been using a PC for 20 years for work, but my husband just gave me an Apple iBook for Christmas.
When I first opened it up I said, “What do I need a computer for? I use a computer all day for work!” He said it was for doing all the creative things that I'd always talked about doing but never did.
In about two hours I was totally hooked on it. You can do so many things on it that you just can't do on a PC very well. I use it for doing yoga DVDs. I use it for creative writing. I'm using it to learn French again (for the third time). I have AirPort, so I can take it anywhere in my house with no wires, no cords, nothing. It's just a really neat design. And it's a lot more fun.
The only problem is my husband: He steals it! So I question whether he really bought it for me or not. Sometimes, when I come home, it's not here. That's when the trouble starts.
I think we'll have another little iBook in the family pretty soon!
Best wishes and many thanks,
